Setting up Ubuntu Tweak

To get Ubuntu Tweak running, follow these  few steps. Be sure to change “maverick” to correspond with your version  ,

Run,

$sudo su

#add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

#apt-key adv –recv-keys –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com

#gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Append these sources to the resulting file,

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ppa/ubuntu maverick main

deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ppa/ubuntu maverick  main

Then,

#apt-get update

#apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

#apt-get dist-upgrade


Ubuntu Tweak can now be accessed through Applications>Systems Tools>Ubuntu Tweak
